There is something to be said about the tropical afternoons in the months of monsoon,
The crisp warm breeze sets in a sweet lethargy,
The hypnotic rotations of the fan cast a slumber hex,
The eyelids grow heavy and minds goes still A little distance away,
The wispy floral curtain gently sways,
Seducing the imagination into a wishful wondering,
Once every now and then a stray chirp reaches the ear,
waking memories of bygone years!
